Robert Dunlevy was sworn in as West Virginia's newest state Boardof Education member at this week's board meeting in Charleston.
A native of Ohio County, Dunlevy is a graduate of Warwood HighSchool in Wheeling. He continued his education at West VirginiaUniversity, earning a bachelors of science degree in education.
Prior to his appointment, he had been a member of the Ohio CountyBoard of Education since 1985 and served as its president from 2003-05.
He also served as the board chairman of the Health Plan of theUpper Ohio Valley, was a member of the Development Council for WVUAthletic Club and a member of the Wheeling Civic Center Board.
